hi experts
how can i make the built in backup backup to an external usb drive and also how to a dvd rw drive?

to backup to an external usb drive you will need to install the backup2 contrib from dmay.

to backup to a dvd-rw drive, do some searching for cdr tools on this site.

I have not tried cdr tools on sme7, only backup2. I thought I saw somewhere thet they are included.
