Does anyone know when mod_perl 2.0 will be released for sme 7

When and if CentOS do the same.

Mod_perl 2 is for apache 2.

SME x.x are working with apache 1.x.

If you need mod_perl 2, you must install first apache 2 (and php 5...)

Not true. SME7 uses apache 2.

Also not true. You do not need php5 (or any version of php) to use mod_perl 2.
