Title: MS Outlook and Shared Folders
Post by: SchulzStefan on July 07, 2006, 10:55:00 AM
Running SME7.0. Did a clean install. Addons are

- backup2 (not working, bug already reported)
- cups
- fetchmail
- lazy_admin
- rar
- sme7admin
- winlogin

Clients are running winxp prof, sp2. In MS Outlook there is a feature called "shared folders". One can invite others, to share for example, the calender. Therefore you have to accept an invitation, which comes in a form and a special "accept-button". Since I run the 7.0 there is no way for me (did a re-install of outlook with the netfolder-feature as descibed in the ms knowledge base) to get this form with the accept-button. I receive ONLY PLAIN TEXT.

Question: Is it possible, that the 7.0 mail-handling converts this form in plain text before delivery? On SME 6.0.1 everything went fine.

My settings in the e-mail configuration are
- virus scanning on
- spamfiltering on
- blocking of exe-files on

Thanks for any hints in advance.

well, something interesting:

usually when I send a message to anybody else, the message goes in the folder "sent-messages".

So I took a look in the folder "sent-messages". The message, the invitation to share a folder to another user, in the sent-messages folder ON THE XP-CLIENT, is correctly displayed in OUTLOOK! The form is absolutely correct displayed. Accept button works fine.

The receipient gets only plain text. What is the trick on the sme7?
