Title: admin password for mysql
Post by: zach_flem on July 12, 2006, 10:55:18 AM
I installed the multiuser version of phpmyadmin onto a fresh v7rc3 install yesterday and when i went to change the admin password i have somehow deleted the privedliges for the "admin" user.

does anyone know how i can login and get these back??

the server is hosted remotly and doing a fresh install isnt going to be easy, even though its probably going to be the fasted option as far as i can see so far!

thanks in advance for your help!!!

Are you refering to the "admin" password for the multi-user version of PhpMyadmin by MasterSleepy? Or the the "root" user for MySQL?

yes its the "admin" password for the multiuser version of phpmyadmin by MasterSleepy.

or is there another way to add new users etc to mysql? i would rather use phpmyadmin but if its going to be a pain in the backside to , then i'll have to find another way!

cheers folks
