I've searched through the forum trying to find some sort of help on this topic without any light at the end of the tunnel.
I must say first and foremost that the install of SME 7 was that quick and easy that i was very surprised how painless it was (now i'm drifting towards linux from a windows user).
Back on topic though what i am after is can SME perform a simple QoS so that one IP address receives a higher pirority compared to the rest of the computers that are connected?
Just that i use a supira voip box and i would like the voip quality to be clear.
The supira box has a fixed ip thats within the dhcp range so i know it won't change. The rest of the computers (two in total) i would like to be given a low pirority to the bandwith.
The sme box is setup as a gateway & server.
Please be gentle as i am new with both linux and sme, but i am willing to give it a try to whatever is suggested.
Many thanks to the developers of sme, its a great easy to use operating system.

Do a search on wondershaper ... it may do what you are after.
Also go to the creators site: http://www.hanscees.com/ ... and look up traffice shaping.
I have it running on my machine and works really well.
