Title: Update 5.6 to 7.0 (Update user account olny)

I've seen a lot of posts that disscuss the update issue.but If I just want to update user account and user's dir.Is there a way to do that.I try to copy the files passwd,group,shadow,gshadow,and /home/e-smith/file/user from 5.6 to 7.0,but is cause the serve so mess.
