Title: CHMOD no effect for web/ftp access? [Resolved]

Hello again!

I've been trying to set a subfolder in an ibay to be
writeable/readable via web but seems hopeless..

The permissions were changed locally but when I try to
do the changes on the web, it still is not writeable to the
public.

example:
I want to install PHP-Fusion on a subfolder in an ibay requiring a chmod for some folders/files to 777.

I can't seem to install it correctly over a browser since it detects the folder as readonly.

The subfolder is created in the Primary/html.

How can I resolve this in SME?

Also, how can I allow chmod over ftp for some users?
