The /dev/st0 was over written.
What do you mean by "over written"? How was it "over written"?
-
Sorry about that.
I have a custom backup script to backup encrypted files. Instead of sending to /dev/st0 it wrote to /dev/st0. I now dont have /dev/st0.
I would like to know the correct way of replacing /dev/st0 when I dont have a backup of the file. :-(

I was able to fix it.
I found that if you just remove the /dev/st0 file (replaced device).
Shutdown server and power off.
Reboot server, the server recreates the /dev/st0 device.
Thanks
P.S.
Hope this helps anyone that may have this problem.
