Title: ADSL pppoe connect failure
Post by: ash1 on July 20, 2006, 04:58:10 PM
Hi,
i,ve got an ADSL router which has been configured as a bridge relative to the ISP.
It works without problem as PPPoE modem in WinXP.

However, in SME 7, i am getting the following problem:

Excerpt from var/log/messages:

PPPd 2.4.3 started by root
using channel xxx
kernel: divert: not allocating divert_blk for non-ethernet device ppp0 not ethernet
using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <---> /dev/ptsx
Sent {LCP ConfReq id=)x1 <mru 1492> <magic 0X67edd15f>]
pppd[xxxx]: tcflsuh failed:Bad file descriptor

and it keeps on goinglike that...but no connection...

Plz advise

I have the same problem on a server with a SpeedTouch Home ADSL modem.
Have you resolved the problem?
