Title: Is Java 2 pre-installed with e-smith?

I nead Java 2 installed to run a applet. Is it installed as standard on e-smith. If not, is there any know issues if I install it.

Take a look at this and please let me know if it is what you are looking for.

It is a link to a How-Tom for installing Sun's JDK.  There is also a link on that page for loading Tomcat.  (JSP Servlet etc)
