Title: Admin Web Authorization Failed after Update by YUM..... ;-(
Post by: SLW on July 31, 2006, 10:29:46 AM
Hi!

I was Update SME by YUM:
yum update
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot

... and now I can't open WEB server-manager....

After admin login and password enter I see the message in internet explorer:
   Authorization Required
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the   document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

Help ME! How to enter to server-manager??????

Thank you

This should be reported in the bugtracker (http://bugs.contribs.org/) if it is not already there.

Was this resolved?  If not, what is the bug number?  What do your logs say?  /var/log/messages, /var/log/httpd/admin_error.log
