Title: MANUAL for 7.0
Post by: mike_mattos on July 31, 2006, 06:41:20 PM
A few posters have suggested users read the manual

I'd like to point out that at this writing, the main menu link to documentation brings one to the version 6 manual, not the new one that is at

http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/SME7Manual

hmm, should I report this as a bug?

Oh, wait, first I'll read the manual!

Oh, wait, is isn;t actually available yet!

Is there any way to let users contribute to the manual on a page or topic level?  I don't feel qualified to edit a chapter, but I certainy can handle some pages topics, proof reading, etc.

Also, perhaps we can merge the contribs into the manual at least on a related topic link  because one of the more frustrating things with SME is that one doesn't know if yum, or a contrib, or CentOs Extras is the place to look.

Yes definitely the bugtracker, you can volunteer there as well.
