Title: sladp logs errors
Post by: compsos on August 12, 2006, 10:28:22 AM
Hi

We have a sladp.log constantly filling with errors but have not been able to pin point the cause. We have turned on schema checking as the messages log was getting lots of
"line 20: schema checking disabled! your mileage may vary!"
but I think this is related to the following sladp.log entries

"daemon: bind(6) failed errno=98 (Address already in use)
daemon: IPv6 socket() failed errno=97 (Address family not supported by protocol)"

Any clues on how to tame it.

Hi

All problems should be reported via the Bug Tracker.

Sorry Charlie
Was hoping to prove if it is a bug first before reporting rather than a local configuration error.
Have now raised it in the bug reports.

The developers would much much rather do it the other way. Assume it is a bug until we investigate and prove otherwise. That way developers don't need to read every forum post searching for evidence of possible bugs.
