Title: SME 7 : raid failure
Post by: damjan on August 18, 2006, 11:16:56 AM
SME 7.0

I have problem with RAID 1 telling that one disk is not sync with other.

 cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid1]
md2 : active raid1 hdc2[1] hda2[2](F)
      156183808 blocks [2/1] [_U]

md1 : active raid1 hdc1[1] hda1[0]
      104320 blocks [2/2] [UU]

unused devices: <none>

What is the procedure to sync RAID again?
On 6.01 it was raidhotadd ... but on the SME 7.0 i did not found solution yet .

Thank you for your replay

This is a pretty good article on managing sofware RAIDs:

You should first attempt to discover when and why your disks got out of sync. It's possible that you have a problem with a hard drive.
