Title: password size in sme7
Post by: steel on August 18, 2006, 03:26:22 PM
Guys I am manually transferring dats from an SME6 to a new SCSI server with SME7. I wanted to keep the same password for a group of users but in SME7 the password I previously used is too small under SME7 and is rejected. Is there a way to chnage the default password size in SME7.

Thanks

I expected to find the solution in the /etc/pam.d/system-auth but the size option is not there, ... will keep looking....

password    requisite     /lib/security/$ISA/pam_cracklib.so retry=3

I expected this in the line above "minlen=8"
