Hi all well my question is this has anyone had any problems with conecting using ppoe to isp provider?  All was running well when my machine went down so since I had 7 beta 4 on I decided to fresh install 7.x but have not been able to conect to internet nor able to get a local network to work....thinking it may be net work cards I bought 2x new ones and new cable but still unable to connect.  In the old days I would have to edit chap secrets to allow and pap to disallow do I have to edit this again?  If so I have fegotten the file to edit any suggestions out there?

No problems here with 7.0 clean install ... entered USA Bellsouth DSL PPPoE username/password in the appropriate places and off I went.

If they had, and they had any sense, they would report a problem via the bug tracker.

You shouldn't need to change anything. If you do, then please open a bug report.

Have you looked in your log files? Try /var/log/pppoe/current and /var/log/messages.
