Title: List of network cards

Is there a list of compatable network cards for sme server 7 or 6?
because i have gone through about 4 now and none of them appear to be detected or have a driver for them.
Also, will the onboard network work?

any help would be much appriciated

I don't know where the list is but realtec based cards have worked for me in the past.

What models have you tried ? You can check the Redhat Hardware certified list as SME Server is based on.

SME runs on CentOS - RedHat

Compatibility list is here:

Hardware SME users got working:

... and all of this is about one click away  :-(

click on Search next to the magnifying lens top right - much easier than installing NICs  :grin:
