Title: Hp 1010 laser printer problem

:-? hey, my laser printer is connected in my server (sme 7.0) (usb port , and share with xp , It's work fine when i setup on my sme 7.0, when the printer is going to sleep mode or turn off the power to start again, it's can't work (document just only in queue and doing nothing). And i need to setup again, and it will doing fine.

Printer setup :
Printer name : hp
Brief description : 1010
Location : First USB attached printer

Is somebody can help me to solve this problem? thx!

H!,

I have the same problem with a HP 1020 USB printer.  I know that with installing some extra software the problem can be solved. But i don't know how to do it. (did not tried it)

which extra software, can u mentioned it?

you will have to install a printer driver on the server. Look for more information on:

http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=HP-LaserJet_1010

For my printer it is a other driver.
