Title: Howto port forward same ports to multiple LAN hosts?
Post by: rdtaylor on September 05, 2006, 01:44:09 AM
Hi!

How does one go about creating a port-forwarding rule which forwards the same port to multiple IP addresses on the LAN?

cheers
Rob

You don't. Port forwarding only allows one IP as the recipient.

Yep,

It's a one-to-one relationship.  If you have a second outside IP address you can do a bit better, but not using the server-manager.

My sense is that you really don't want to do that.  If you'd like you can email  me offline.  jay@hitechsavvy.com

well...if you threw some type of load balancer in front of the other two systems then had it do round-robin...load balancing...but im pretty sure that is NOT what you were asking...lol
