How do I uninstall completely the A4SME (Asterisk for SME)? I want to install it on my new server...

Thanks,

Mike

Hi I don't really know exactly how to remove it but I can tell you how I transfer the asterisk 4 sme to another machine (configs ,etc)

compressed /etc/asterisk and /var/lib/asterisk in 2 files and in the new machine, install asterisk 4 sme and uncompress, overwriting those two directories.

in my case worked perfectly  :hammer:

Hi lightman,

Thanks for your reply... i will try that...

However, it will cause a lot of errors on my old SME, i just want to separate Asterisk on my newly installed SME and the old one will retain other functions...

I really need to completely remove Asterisk on my old SME, at this point, im not in a idea of reformatting for old SME just to remove the Asterisk.

Thanks,

Mike

By memory the A4SME had an uninstall.sh file in it.

Untar the origional file again and have a look in there for an uninstall.sh.

Tib
