You are using a dial-up connection?

Did you set up a dial-up connection when you first configured the system?

Did you set it to persistant connection?

There is a module to add dial entry to the control panel.
http://www.e-smith.org/contrib/rpm-index/RPM_by_realm-public.html

Give that a go and see if it helps.  If not, mail me.

It is set to persistant connection. Do i only need to try to access the internet on the computers behind it for it to dial a connection?
If this is the case then is there a manual connection method.

Btw i have already set up the connection info etc, during the install stage, and testing the connection came up successful so is this all set up then.

Hi,

Just enter a valid URL in your clients browser. If you set the proxy right (ServerIP:3128) than you're there. You can also set the Default gatway on your clients to your ServerIP to got to FTP etc.

If you set up the dial-up connection to be continuous and the internet connection test worked, you've probably been connected to the internet the whole time. Maybe that was not what you want.
