Title: LDAP problem in SME 7.0
Post by: suyila on September 12, 2006, 02:35:40 PM
When I save the Change LDAP directory settings in the SME server manager, it is failed, it shows that Proxy server error.

I try to use the LDAP explorer which locate in the client PC to connect to the LDAP , it shows that  "invalid DN syntax".

Does anyone know where the problem may be?

I do not have the answer, but would suggest reporting it in the bug tracker with as much detail as possible.

SME Server does not (yet) support authentifictaion using LDAP, see bug 1543 (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1543) for efforts on implementing LDAP as authentification tool.
