I asked some studid questoins before, so why not continue? ;-)
If o want to check if the incoming spammail,is actually a spammail, how do i do it?
-
Hi Slayer,
What you need to do is look at the message source for the "from" IP. Then goto dnsstuff.com and search in the antispam databases
-
Okay thanks!
But do you know, if ot is possible to make spamassasin send the spammail to my mailaccount? Then i could make a filter en my mailprogram, and check them in a more visuel manner.

Yes you can.
Under SME7: Configuration - Email - Email filter settings
Sort spam into junkmail folder - Choose "Disabled" then "save" button
This will allow it to pass through and be received by your email client

That's not necessary. The email client (assuming it is configured to use IMAP) can access the junkmail folder directly (just like any other folder).

My Thunderbird version seems resisting to do so, I worked around it creating a link to the junkmail folder from the INBOX.junkmail folder, see bug 1911 (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1911).
