Hi everybody,
After a bad reboot, the system performed a fsck.
System asked for a manual fsck.
Performed with option -y.
System rebooted, but now server won't boot again.
Last 4 lines during boot process :
switching to new root
exec of init (/bin/sh) failed!!!: 13
umount /initrd/dev failed: 2
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Please who can help me??

Nope, doesn't work.
It doesn't see any installed SME server so it wants to format al the disks.
Live CD CentOS 4.4 also hangs!!
After starting the HAL deamon [ok] it wants to update /etc/fstab and then hangs!!
I guess I'll have to use a recovery tool to get my data back....
Thanks anyway for the suggestion.....

Like this. (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1934) :)
On a serious note, I do wish people would place a link back to their raised bugs.
