Title: Using separate local machine as web server...
Post by: dgreathouse on September 22, 2006, 06:12:37 PM
OK, this has probably been answered here before, but I can't think of good search terms (must be getting old)

I use SME 6.0.1 in gateway/server mode (for a LONG time)  I need to move all web server and email functions to second server on local network, probably running RHEL (If I get MY way it'll be SME7)...  I know how to tell SME to pass mail via Server-Manager, but what about the web server???  I want to use virtual domains just as I did on the SME box...  Do I just forward all web ports (80, 8080, etc) to the new box? or what...  I want to continue to use SME as gateway, so... any help??
