Title: smtpauth plain password
Post by: commanda on September 25, 2006, 04:53:01 AM
I'm currently running 6.0.01. My ISP has now blocked port 25. I downloaded and installed the smtpauth package, but it only does SASL login, not plain.

If I upgrade to 7.0, will the smtpauth be able to handle plain login?

My ISP is unwired.com.au.

Send email.

My ISP is now blocking port. All outgoing mail has to go via their ESMTP server. The connection has to be authenticated. The smtpauth package for 6.0.01 only supports SASl authentication. My ISP requires plain authentication
