Title: Thunderbird problem with imap4 on sme 7.x
Post by: crusader on September 27, 2006, 02:11:11 PM
I try to use mozilla thunderbird with my sme7.x imap server. Sometimes I get this error message from my thunderbird client software:
"This Mail-server is no imap4 mail-server"

After this, the client won't save this sent mail into his send folder and some other things does not work correctly.

Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

I have at times experienced this also.   I think you should post this on Bugzilla.  The Dev may want to know about it. Regards. chris.

I haven't been here for a while. Since there are some changes on this site where can I find the bugtracker?

Has this been resolved?  Do you have a bug report number?

I'm still seeing this problem with SME 7.2 on Thunderbird 2.0.0.6.

Thanks!

This has been discussed many time.  Here are some relevant links:

This is a known bug in TB.  When concurrency limits are reached you may
(wrongly) get that message.
For more details see

Possibly related could be this, they deal with concurrency limits:
