Title: Telnet via ttyS3

I am looking to :

1. Log into sme via putty
2. Telnet via ttyS3 to my switch through it's serial port...

is this simply a Tenet configuration /command line issue

or

is there a better way, or a SME way?

SME 7 includes "minicom" which should do what you're looking for.
