Title: Squidguard failure with 5.1.2 upgrade
Post by: Ryan Sutton on February 08, 2002, 01:22:12 AM
I am using the greencomputer distro of the e-smith squidguard rpm.  After upgrading to 5.1.2, squidguard failed and allowed unlimited access to all web sites.  I reinstalled the greenserver squidguard rpm and squidguard works again, but the transproxy 0.1-3 failed to install due to in incompatiblity with e-smith-proxy 4.6-05.  This has resulted in the inablility to use the web interface to add or remove trusted and untrusted domains and expressions as was done in SME 5.0.

Can someone point me to a site on how to compile srpms?  I want to remove the current proxy, and reinstall an older srpm proxy or attempt to compile and install the newer transproxy srpm.  Where can I find older srpms, or rpms?

Thanks in advance.

Ryan,

SME 5.1.2 has transproxy enabled "out of the box". No need to re-install.
