Title: eth0: oversized ethernet frame, status .....

Hi,

I keep getting this errormessage on my e-smith 3.1 console. The adapter
is an RTL8139 PCI one. The machine is a Compaq Prosignia 300.

This happens when the network is running 10Mbit as well as 100Mbit.
All used to work great with my RTL8029 10Mbit PCI card.

Any ideas?

I swapped the rtl8139 adapter for a 3com 3c905b and the prob. is gone.
