Title: Is the SME 7 the right server?
Post by: acami on October 19, 2006, 07:15:10 PM
Hello everybody,

I am discocvering right now the SME server.
I would like to setup principaly an e-mail server for about 600 e-mail users.
It is a mixed environement : linux/windows. An active directory is in place actually.

So, my question is : is  the SME  the right server?

Thanks,

It depends on the integration level you want to achieve with the Active Directory you have already in place.

Yes, it all depends on the server hardware.

Thanks for th ereply.

Concerning linux-AD integration, I would like to make user administration on AD (windows) only. That's all for now.
