Was wondering as im a little confussed how it works how to install windows vista onto it?
I installed vmware server, but how does it work? Do i need to connect to it somehow? How do i install vista onto it? an the vmware boot up with sme server so vista then automaticly loads?
Anything to help me understand how vmware server works would be brill
Thanks

Not sure what your question has to do with SME Server :? your question seems better asked in a Vmware forum. Thanks

Better asked in the Contribs forum.
Anyway, you need the VMware Client Console installed on another computer. With that you connect to the VMware server and then create VM's.
Installation of Vista Beta/RC is not straight forward... check vmware forums and google.
With Vista final, the two cheapest editions may not be allowed to be installed as VMs through licence restrictions.

Thanks for the replies.
I dont actually know how to move it to that forum but out of interest do you mean vmware workstation? or is there an actual client?

Client.
VMware Server Console.
Get it from where you downloaded the server of from my mui (https://secure.magicwilly.info:8333) if its the same version as your server.

Moving this topic to the SME Server 7.x Contribs, it is more appropriate there. Thanks!
