Title: Full path required for system commands (eg. system-events)
Post by: mackayr on October 23, 2006, 03:36:22 AM
I've recently added some additional functionality to my system (ie. added some contribs).  Specifically, I added sme7admin, LPRng manager panel, user webspaces, getmail and mailsorting from dungog, and some others.  During the course of my installs, I noticed that I had to type in the full system path in order to do a reboot, post-install, etc...

Is this normal functionality for SME7 or does it appear to be a bug that I should report in bugtracker.  I don't always do the post-install/reboot sequence after installing software, choosing rather the reconfigure button in server-manager so I don't know when this "problem" appeared (if it is a problem).

Please give me direction.  The main reason I'm curious about this is that I'm not able to get the dungog mailsorting panel to appear and feel as though it may be related.  I'm going to post in the contribs area for that particular issue.

Thanks,

Rob

Do you use the root account or did you create a seperate account.

Reconfigure should work as well.

I always use root for command line instructions.

I think you should file a bug report as this information seems not to be normal.
