Title: Lotus domino under SMe certificate expiry
Post by: brianr on October 23, 2006, 01:41:29 PM
I am using an SMEserver 6.0.1-01 with Lotus domino, installed from:

http://www.westcountrybusiness.com/sme-domino.htm

It is behind an SME7 server, so there are no security issues. Access is by VPN or local.

This has run fantastically for the last 2 years, however just this week (2 years I suspect to the day), the Lotus  Clients (Windows) are moaning that the "Server certificate has expired ("do you want to continue anyway?").  At the moment we can still connect to the server by saying "yes" but I suspect that the day will come....

Anyone know which certificate this might be, and more importantly, how to renew it?

Your problem is not with SME, you need to enter within Domino Admin Client and recertificate your server.id

That's all

Coo, i'd forgotten that I posted this here - yes I did find the problem in the end, via an ibm/lotus notes forum.  It actually had more to do with the notes clients than the server if i remember correctly.
