Title: SME as SHDSL bridge?
Post by: Reggae on October 23, 2006, 11:22:43 PM
I've posted this in  "SME Server 7.x" but got no response so I thought i'd try here. If it's a totally stupid question plz say so, and let me have peace in mind for my ignorance  :)

Have an shdsl connection, that needs a router/bridge.

Preferably I like a bridge like maybe ZyXEL Prestige 791R and use my SME as gateway/firewall.

But do I really need one of these or is there another solution.
Can my SME bridge the ATM signal to ethernet?

Any suggestions?

You could ask your ISP if they support using a card like this:
