I have a new sme install setup on our test area at work. It is setup on the dmz. I have no other boxes on the dmz and one box on the lan of the network. When I try to access server manager I get an error that I am not authorized to view this page.
If I just type the ip address in the browser I get a website under construction (the default text).
Is there any way to get around this ?

Is your DMZ and LAN on different ip segments ?
Add your LAN network to RemoteAccess via server-manager.
-
Yes, they are on different segments.
I am using IPcop for the firewall.
I have 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0 on the lan (green)
Static ip's from isp on wan (red)
and 10.1.0.1 255.255.255.0 on the DMZ (orange)
The Lan gives out IP's from 10.0.0.5-10.0.0.99
The dmz has one machine ( the smeserver) at 10.1.0.2
The static IP address for that box is forwarded to the internal IP of the smeserver on ports 80 and 443.
How do I do that when I can't access the server-manager ?
Do I add the whole lan ?
I am accessing it from a box getting a dhcp address on the lan.

When you installed SMEServer 7 did you not have a monitor and keyboard attached?
At the SME machine login as admin. There will now be a menu selection to access server manager.

Add as much of your LAN as you want to.

Similar to me but I use Smoothwall.
Add something like
Network 10.0.0.0
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
