Title: Imap?
Post by: jvels on November 02, 2006, 09:54:34 AM
Hello

What Imap server does SME7 use?

I have found this script, but can it run on a SME server?

Quote
SmartSieve is a web based graphical user interface for creating and
managing Sieve scripts on a Cyrus imap mail server. It provides a
way for non-technical Cyrus imap users to generate Sieve rules for
mail filtering and vacation messaging without prior knowledge of the
Sieve scripting language.

SME7 uses Dovecot as the IMAP server, which won't support Sieve (as far as I am aware)

Sieve rules work with the cyrus-imap server.  If you're interested, there is a contrib of this for SME 7.  You'll find the download and the how to at http://www.westcountrybusiness.com - click on the Tech Forum button.
