Title: IBay query
Post by: SMENewbie on November 07, 2006, 02:28:09 AM
This may be a stupid question, in fact I'm sure it is... however...

Is there any way to point an ibay in SME 7 to the whitelist, blacklist etc of spamassassin so that a techy outside my network can review and make manual changes to them?

Or even better some sort of plugin for the web interface that allows this to be done?

I am a newcomer to SME and Linux in general if you couldn't tell. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!  :D

As far as I know you now need to have a root shell to add or delete entries from the spamassassin whitelist and blacklist.

Here's a description of how to add entries to the whitelist: http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=31227.0

There *may* be a way to grant shell access to a normal user, then play with file access rights to let a non-root user make these changes...
