Post by: mpaoliniluquin on November 10, 2006, 12:23:05 AM
I have a selintra-asterisk working ok, y buy a APC ups, and enable NUT. CRASH!!

Asterisk fail to initialize, anybody know why?

thanks!
best regards.

PD: I disable NUT at boot, but asterisk doesn´t initialize at boot, if I do /etc/init.d/asterisk restart.. asterisk start well.

What kernel version are you runing atm .... if you have just done an update then you have to do a small fix to get it to initialize on start up.

No idea about your nut problem though.

link for asterisk fix after kernel update ...

Hello mp

I'm afraid a problem definition of "Crash" and "asterisk fail to initialize" isn't too helpful.

What's in the logs (asterisk and messages).
Why do you think it is a NUT/Asterisk issue and not something else?
what Kernel are you running?
Which asterisk rpms?

Without these things it's very difficult to help you.

Kind Regards
