Title: Openvpn client mode problem (Solved)
Post by: imcintyre on November 14, 2006, 07:22:48 PM
Apparently I was missing an update (or 2  :oops: ). I am now very happy :D

If you complain that this topic doesn't belong here, you might be right but....

I have a problem with Openvpn install to a client running XP XP2. I tried the openvpn website and there are alot of "yeah this is a big problem" but no solution. I see alot of work going into openvpn that may come to nothing if this doesn't work.

I have tried the following
Quote
openvpn-2.0.7-gui-1.0.3-install.exe

and
Quote
openvpn-2.0.9-install.exe

I get an error message box "An error occurred installing the TAP-Win32 device driver".

I choose "OK". The install details are as follows;
