hi,
SME 7.0 with updates.
I would like to have national characters on IBAY samba shares. This IBAY is access through Win XP machines.
I've changed
"display charset = ISO8859-2"
and
"dos charset = 852"
on /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/smb.conf.
Then I extracted the templates but no change. The smb.conf is changed in one occasion but on the other it is not (!).
In fact all the stuff is strange a little bit more....
I mean I've changed templates for location /etc/smb.conf but the file smb.conf is actually in /etc/samba/smb.conf (!)
Is this natural in 7.0 or do I missed something? In 6.01 this procedure was straightforward...
thanks for some reply
