Title: Email not redirecting to outside email address

Server is in server only mode ... all email for admin user is redirected to a local user ... local user then has email delivered to outside address.

The only time the admin receives an email is daily ti do with backups and these we successfully arriving into the outside email address.

They stopped and I found that I could not access webmail ... came up with some sql.php error which I corrected using

sbin/e-smith/config setprop horde DbPassword horde
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot

No other changes to server or configuration were done.

I can webmail locally between all users, but the redirect to the outside email address fails.

At root in the console I can ping the external mail server and external web addresses so the server can see the outside world.

What should I be looking at next to resolve this problem?

Silly question, but have the MX records been altered by somebody out in the big wide world? That would make external mail possible as there would be no information available of how to route it.....
