Title: Modem Help

I just installed a new U.S. Robotics Performance Pro Modem (USR5610B) on a fresh install of 5.1.2 and I cannot get it to respond.  The package said it needs Kernel 2.3 or better.  Just wondering if anyone has gotten one to work with a the 2.2 Kernel on SME with a script or something.

what do you mean by 'the package' where did you get this info and at what time?

the box it was shipped in.
