Title: Selintra-asterisk strange 'Extensions' display behaviour
Post by: hervep on November 19, 2006, 07:47:22 AM
Hi Selintra,

Extension display ( panel-manager ) may show a trunk state instead of real extension state.

The situation I have ( simulation ):

Sail 2.1.14-347, extension range 3xxx .
Running FWD route/trunk to a SIP FWD Nr: 703001 ( state=connected ).
Defined IAX extension 3001.
As a result, extensions-panel shows a connected 3001 SIP extension to the FWD Ip address, instead of real IAX 3001.

Taking a look into /etc/asterisk ... it seems to be only a display issue. IAX extension was created correctly.

This not an issue for me, just found better to keep you aware of it.

Kind regards,

Herve

Salut Herve

Nice catch!  :)  You've found a little bug in the regex processing of the channel string we get back from Asterisk.

We'll fix it for the next out.

Thanks and kind regards

Selintra
