Title: Midnight Commander? (Solved)
Post by: imcintyre on November 21, 2006, 06:18:50 PM
I was spending alot of time removing and old install of files and directories (specifically MoinMoin) from the main directory. Being new to linux I was getting frustrated with the number of keystrokes required to move files around and to delete directories etc.

An associate recommended I install a program called Midnight Commander.

Before I go and install something else, is there something already in the SME 7 install that can do this? I looked around on the Centos website but could not find anything, but I thought somebody here would know.

Is Midnight Commander an appropriate choice or is there something better?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Midnight Commander is already part of the SME Server, you can type "mc" at command for accessing Midnight Commander
