Title: change password length and expire

hello,

i would like set the Strong password with at least 8 characters and set expire password after 3 month. Any suggestion?

The request for password expiry is already there (bug 1176 (http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1176)), I put a link to a topic in the forums in there, although I am not sure if my suggestion works.
