Hello,
I have some questions about egroupware.
Is it possible to use LDAP to store contacts (with SME) ? What are the pre-requites ?
All the functionnalities are available in the sme ?
Is preferable to use cyrus-imap ?
I have users on green and on red that have to connect. They use also mobile to see the email. And to finish we would like to have an unique contact/customer database (LDAP could be a good solution)
Thanks for your help
Mathias

EGW has its own adress book (customer database) that can be shared.
Cyrus-imap also enable folder sharing within mail accounts.
If mobility is needed, a web-based application might be better but if Outlook is a requierement, then the implementation of EGW should be discarded.
Using Outlook *and* EGW is probably not recommended for the time being. It's one or the other, in my opinion. And either way is working very fine.

I do not want to use outlook. I just need to have an shared contact dabase : egw, trouble ticket system and CRM-sales.
Is it possible now to store contacts in LDAP ?
