Title: Backuppc Service Stopping

I have been running Backuppc on SMEServer 7 and am having a problem with the service stopping when it runs the nightly backup/cleanup processes.

The log gives me:

Contents of file /opt/backuppc/files/log/LOG, modified 2006-11-19 22:30:00

Can't use string ("-250") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /usr/share/backuppc/bin/BackupPC line 1604.

Anyone have a suggestion as to what is causing this?

I am using Backuppc version 2.1.0pl1  - Duncan's contrib

(I'm just learning the ways of Linux... so if this isn't what you are asking, let me know :) )

I'm not sure but from my memory, duncan's contrib was for sme 6. Have a look at http://sme.firewall-services.com/spip.php?rubrique2. It's a contrib i've made. it's based on backuppc2.1.2pl2 and is well integrated in SME7. You have some interesting features like configuration through the server-manager and export of your backups to an offsite server.
