Title: Block local smtp traffic
Post by: drbauer on November 23, 2006, 01:09:45 AM
I know this may be a bit backwards, but I want to block smtp trafficout throught the local interface.  The SME machine is a server/gateway that accepts mail then forwards it onto an internal box, I am having an issue with visiting users that intentionally or otherwise are sending out through the smtp box, I need to stop that.  the other machine doesn't accept un0authenticated smtp so it cant be used in this manner, the SME machine can and I NEED to stop it.

No, I'm not, outgoig mail is handled by another box though, so I don't want any mail going out through the local interface.
