Title: SMTP deleting Header Disposition-Notification-To???
Post by: masterbuga on November 23, 2006, 06:05:17 PM
First excuse my English...

I have some installation of SME 7 as SMTP Mail Server with CLAMAV and SPAMASSASSIN.

When I send a message by SME SERVER, whith Outlook or Outlook Express, the remote receiver not receive the notification on his client. Infact editing the message in receiver client Header "Disposition-Notification-To" is not present.... Why????

Sending an email to another user of my local domain (someuser@mydomain.com), instead, the notification appears...

Help Me!!!
Massimo

I don't understand the problem. Especially the part with "remote receiver not receive the notification". Wich notification? That she/he has new mail? Please restate.

I think he's sending email requesting a 'read/return receipt' and the other end is not being prompted that one is required.

I could be wrong.

Thunderbird works for me...

- smeserver-mailsorting (www.dungog.net)

with no problems.

dungog-email is commercial so blame that one ;)

..now I think it....

All my SME 7.0 servers, are upgraded from SME 6.0, restoring by TAPE.

..in all old SME 6 installation were installed Swert-Knudsen-AntiVirus and Swert-Knudsen-SpamFilter
